On my portable the firebox is an antique car axle housing found in scap pile,
the pan is a large cast rim or housing also found in same scrap pile. the legs
are black pipe screwed into caps that are welded to axle. I welded a short pipe
to form a "T" with the axle. Rigged to either be hand cranked or electric
blower. It will not win any awards for pretty but it works.
