Maybe what we need is a  "WIKI"

Dave Mudge maybe ABANA should consider sponsoring a Blacksmithing "WIKI"

These are an encyclopedia and a dictionary created, edited and updated by a 
community of users.

I look at a WIKI as the next generation to a FAQ.   It could include photos 
and have much greater involvement by our community.  It would not be one 
person's responsibility to write  and edit the material the way an FAQ 
would.
