Ah yes, I used to go to Philly on business. The
Sure-kill brings back memories of why I live where I
do.

Now how many folks out there can open their back door
and shoot at deer? or Coyotes or Ground Hog, all in
season if there is one? And not have the police show
up?

Andy you need to live out in the boonies for a while,
the boonies where I live will tell you if you want to
live that far away from "civilization". Our nearest
big city is Wheeling WV, and it is about a hour from
my house via back routes and freeway. There are more
remote villages and hamlets around here.

We have a couple of decent gun stores and a few not so
decent ones. No strip clubs, not that many bars. A lot
of people around here that do "fire and iron", some
for a living at it.

Around here it is not whether you have a pickup truck,
it's how big is your pickup truck, I am glad I drive a
Honda Element, I don't have to compete with the guys
and their gas/diesel guzzlers.

We got two hardware stores and one will even give you
a house account.

It's easier to get your tractor or your ATV repaired
or customized than it is to get your Turbo Diesel
tuned up.

And we have one really neat junkyard. I need to get my
trailer hitch installed and then go over there for
materials I need. The owner will let you pay when you
can and his office manager will let you slide for a
bit if you get laid off, have a new baby or some other
things out of your control.

But if you need help around my neck of the woods, just
ask and people will gladly help you. You can find even
more remote than where I live, land prices are getting
cheap, 85 acres and a house for under $100K. You want
an 30 year old saw mill minus the equipment, plus 22
acres of land a lot of concrete pads, $65k.

And we have really great thing during the summer:
Jamboree in the
Hills!http://www.jamboreeinthehills.com/

The Jamboree is so big around here that one TV station
runs it live all day and all night long. If you decide
to come see the Jamboree, bring your super sized
cooler, lots of ice and be warmed up for the Running
of the Rednecks. :)

It ain't West Virginia, but it is almost heaven.
