Since you are so far from the road. Put in your own fire hydrant You do have
a water main running along the main road, right? Fire Hydrants on a main
road are not supposed to be more then 600 feet apart. Find out what it would
cost to have a 6" water line running back to your place. Have a Fire hydrant
put at the end of it.
Are you running a well or are you on city water?
It won't be cheap to have that put in. Plus they might make you put in a
water meter too.
I work as a survey tech for an Engineering firm and I do water line
inspection when they put new lines in subdivisions.
If on a well get a large storage tank 10,000 gal and hook up a pump and put
in a fire suppression system
