I've seen variable speed bench grinders.  They seem like one of the
safer options for wire brushing.  I plan on purchasing a face shield
along with any wire brush set up I get going.  After reading this I'm
thinking I should start getting some shop leathers as well.  Maybe the
sleeve set up that I'll likely want for welding anyway...
