The real thin (0.45) cutting wheels are neat to have around also.
Remember things try to leave the cutting edge at the speed of the RPM and
the outer circumference of the wheel, no matter what type of wheel you are
using. loose items can instantly become projectiles. Cutting wheels and
grinding wheels throw sparks a long way and can ignite your clothing and
rags in the shop quickly if not watched.
Try to buy good quality abrasives and you get longer life out of them,
cheap wheels go quickly.
If you are careful it's a very useful tool, I've burned out a few good ones
over the years after they performed well for many hours.
