When I taped Bill Epps at BAM he said to use an electric buffer which is
slower RPM which doesn't throw wires as bad

Wonderful Tool -- Most Dangerous Tool in my shop. Pay attention to
everything Larry has said. I always use my grinder with a wire brush
two
handed -- this helps a lot. Put the item you are going to clean up in
the
vise -- unless it is something really big like a steel fabrication.
Since I
have more than one angle grinder I keep my wire cup brush on the weakest
one -- the one with the smallest motor -- still plenty of power for this
use. As I said at the start a very useful tool -- just be careful
getting
to know it -- and above all you must have eye protection !!
