I just got a sheave of handles from a hockey playing friend of mine - not many teeth, but a generous friend...

He has dozens of hockey sticks which only need that right angle thing cut off to give me stock for 4 or 5 handles in each stick.  Some of the sticks are hickory, some are plastic impregnated, some are laminated.  Good source of handle material and all you have to do is befriend someone with no front teeth!
