To expand on what Tod Estes said earlier, Oklahoma has two large state
fairgrounds, one in Oklahoma City and one in Tulsa. I think both have
accommodations for travel trailer hook-ups. I'm not sure about tent
camping. They are both in medium sized cities with plenty of hotel/motel
options. They have food and restroom facilities, large and small exhibition
and demonstration buildings, plenty of parking, set-up for large crowds,
etc.

I have no idea how far ahead these facilities are booked. Nor do I know how
the managers (fair boards) would be to work with. But, Phlip could give
them a call. ;-)

Marsha suggested somewhere central. Well, Oklahoma is just about at the
geographic center of North America.

Of course Oklahoma is not the cultural center or the population center of
North America. But the people are friendly and the facilities are there.

Aubrey
