Nahh, they still don't get the point. Dave wants me to run for the
Board in order to take a job running a conference for them. I don't
mind doing a job of work, but if I bid the job and get it, damned if I
need to be trying to run ABANA at the same time.

Now, all of us have offered solutions, basicly boiling down to
simplifying their dog-n-pony show, and apparently, they don't want to
hear it. I don't particularly want to run an ABANA conference, but I'd
do it if the pay was right and I had complete control- and I'm betting
ABANA would benefit from it. However, it's easier, apparently, to say,
"This ain't gonna work, so we ain't gonna fix it" than to try to
change their thinking radically.

And, if I did run the conference, I wouldn't be cooking. Unlike ABANA,
I know how to delegate.
