[TheForge] Our own FleaBay (was: pots, pans, and bakeware, the making of)

Actually, guys, that goes for me, too, and not just
for cookware and not just for Terry.

I'm a habitual flea-market and used-bookstore goer. I
have enough spare change that I can afford to pick up
a few items I don't myself need and hold them until
you can arrange to get them from me.

How 'bout some sort of exchange set-up between folks
on theforge? Talking low-priced items here. You want
a certain baking dish, post a description, if I spot
it I pick it up for you and email the group I've got
it for you. (Actually, a sister forum might be better
to minimize OT's, but I doubt the OT's would be be
more than the recent "guns and coffee" ones I've been
deleteing. Anything Andy is an active participant on
and involves weapons, I know to just delete...)

This would be a heavy trust thing, but I can deal with
that. (I'm currently holding a few cast-iron frying
pans for Andy @ $5 ea. -- should he ever condescend to
visit NJ again!) The key is never to spend more than
you can afford to lose. I'm looking at this as an
at-cost arrangement, not to complicate my IRS forms
any, but others could arrange differently.
