I know this is off topic, but in keeping with my stated subject...

I saw the original article in Pop Sci. Target price around a buck a 
watt, even a lowly tradesman can afford solar electricity. Even better, 
this may well be the first photovoltaic cell that puts out more energy 
during it's useful life than it took to manufacture it in the first 
place (visit the guru's lair, specifically page 71.6 @

There might be an induction furnace in your future when the 
noxious-nazis shut down our nice warm coal and gas forges. Didn't some 
one show a 1.5kw or 2kw induction heater of the forge a few months ago? 
Much more practical than a Mythbusters mirror forge.

If Nanosolar can keep up with demand, we wouldn't need much foreign oil, 
which would really piss off Citco.
