Something about the math doesnt add up ...

"Global concentrations of CO2 in 2006, not surprisingly then, reached the highest level since the record-keeping began in 1958, the World Meteorological Organization recently announced in its annual greenhouse-gas bulletin. Based on samples from 40 countries, the level of carbon dioxide in the air reached 381.2 parts per million, up fractionally from 2005 -- concentrations not seen in 650,000 years, scientists said."

Seems to me... 2007 - 1958 = 49 years... not 650,000 years... unless these 'scientists' have a time machine they can not know what these sensors would have read 650,000 years ago.. ASSUMING they calibrate these sensors on a regular basis, the variations in sensor technologies and cal gas concentrations can vary the readings by as much a 4% per year, the amounts of change they are reporting are WELL within the limits of the measurement uncertainty.

The way Ive got it figured... the planet has been warming up naturally since the last ice age... unless SUVs are responsible for melting the glaciers that were over Detroit.

And to add a little more concern to the rising temperature issue.. there may be a "few issues" with the temperature measurements...
