There is a guy on ebay that makes a SS drum that one can use in their
BBQ. I think that the GG/SC unit is the way to go. If one is going to
roast to sell, the best bet is a introductory small commercial unit. The
samll poppers are TOO SMALL and take too long to do a full batch
IMHO...Been down that road too.

I have used a hot air popcorn popper ($28) to roast coffee beans and
nuts with success. You just have to introduce the beans slowly and keep
a watch over them. Good way to figure out if the $300 to $600 dollar
investment is worth it.
