Aubrey, that's a smart decision on your part! That 2nd tape of Daves,
produced just a short time before he died, is one of the best tapes on the
market (If not the only tape like it). It's full of tips and ideas not only
for LG's, but for other brands. I've made some tooling for my Sayha Turkish
Air Hammer using that tape. How about the ending on that tape? He shows
what can happen (and what did happen to him) is you wear gloves while
operating a vertical mill. The big cutter that he had in the mill caught
his glove, and pulled his hand around backwards in the machine, ripping his
hand apart, exposing several bones, and he lost several fingers. He keeps
the glove nailed to the wall by the vertical mill. Sorry to be so graphic,
but it's a work to the wise.
Looks like I'll be selling my 25# LG ($3,495), and my 50# LG ($4,995),
100#LG ($7,495, I love these 100's, ask Don Hanson about them, he has one,
and is having Sid build up another one for him. My beloved 250#'er is
$8,995). I'd take $8.5K for the Sayha. Sorry to put this here but it was
convient.
Anyway, buy the tapes!
Robert

When I finally skated home last night around 9 p.m., I found, waiting
patiently for me in my mailbox, Dave Manzer's DVD "Power Hammer Techniques."
After dragging some more tree limbs out of my driveway, I sat down to take a
peek at the DVD. That's when I realized that I had ordered the wrong DVD; I
had intended to get his first one, "Little Giant Tune Up" to help me with my
Mayer Bros. project hammer. I thought, "What the heck, I'll just watch this
one before I send it back." Well, and hour and a half later, I still wanted
the tune up DVD, but I ain't sending this one back!

I went to bed with a smile on my face and dreams of forged sugar plums
dancing in my head.

Aubrey
