[TheForge] Celebration! - Long and Way OT

The look that says they believe it's got to be anything
but good bye. The, "I think I just inhaled one of my
own socks," look. The expression that begs
calrification on just what your game is.

While it may be satisfying to give the BOSS (which as
we all know stands for backwards double S OB) a good
piece of your mind the long term gratification of not
telling the putze ANYTHING grows exponentially over
time.

When I gave notice at my job before last, I didn't even
tell the boss. I told His supervisor who used to have
his position. I just walked in one morning and told him
I'd accepted a better offer and though they wanted me
to start that day I'd give him his two weeks. Then I
left to catch the plane to Ketchikan. I'd already
stopped and asked the secretary to make sure I had
return plane reservations for my last day.

Just leaving him standing there with The Look saying
something inane as I snorted assent and turned around
was one of my more satisfying moments. So, while I may
not be able to describe it so well, you'll know it when
you see one for yourself. It leaves you high and can
bring back a little of that high on remembrance through
the years.

Savor the high.
