While looking for some information I found a "old book" in Google Books on 
the history of the iron industry in the USA.

The book from 1892 by James M. Swank is History of the Manufacture of Iron 
in All Ages and Particularly in the United States From Colonial Times to 
1891.  The whole book has been scanned into Google Books and in a PDF format 
is about 32 M.

I can't figure out how to give you a URL for this item but if you Google on 
"History of the Manufacture of Iron in All Ages"  with the quotes it will 
come up as the 3rd item or so.

If you can tell me how to give the correct URL, it would be nice to know --  
I love Google but sometimes they make things hard.
