Bar Keepers Friend "best since 1882" (so the package reads). It is cheap easy
and effective. At Dollar General it costs $1.50 for 12oz. Look it up at
www.barkeepersfriend.com or call 1-800-433-5818 or email to bkf at iquest.net and
yes that is taken right from the package. It contains Oxalic acid so dont use it
on gold silver or lacquered surfaces. For really heavy tarnished copper and
brass you may need to try CopperGlo. Made by the same company. I have used this
stuff on stainless, porcelain, glass, copper, brass, and the fiberglass on my
boat. Removed the rust stains from my the deck of my boat with the addition of
elbow grease. Left the gelcoat unscratched. Works great on stainless railings
too. This is NOT a paid endorsement. (but if they wanna send some $.....)

btw they have a lime and rust remover too.
