[TheForge] Update on Terry

Mike, Terry is doing well. They have removed the
catheter and both legs are unbandaged and healing.
His slight fever has dropped.  They discovered a blood
clot in the right lung so they have him on cumidin. PT
has been at bedside as it is limited by alot of pain.
He has had at least one visitor a day to help keep his
spirits up. He does still use the nasal oxygen however
once he can be up more his lungs should clear.He has
lost about 20 lbs. but he is glad about that! I will
be talking with his doctor on Monday and see what
future rehab is looking like. It sounds like they
would like to get him to the extended care facility
where he would have his own room. That would be really
nice and less likely that things would be stolen. I
can't complain as the care has been excellent and the
staff is experienced and caring. Sometimes the
communication is lacking between staff however they
have alot of young intern doctors assisting with
caseloads. Please send this on to the guys on the
forge list for me. Oh, DeKalb was a big mess from
flooding especially near NIU but our house was fine.
