[TheForge] Carring Propane in a car

You know how when you drive your car or van instead of a pickup when you 
pick up propane or other hazardous material and they make you sign that 
waiver and it's really not a good idea?
Well I got to thinking what if you had one of those shelves that you put 
into a trailer hitch and strapped it on that and then I thought what if 
someone hit you or I wonder if the local sheriff would have a fit?
Well anyone have any thoughts on it or ideas for another scheme?
Ya I know I could buy a pickup but that would be a little cost prohibitive.
