Oh, and here I thought I was wearing the thing for safety!    Guess we could 
cut the fabric away from the straps and just use the straps alone!  :o)
I'm sorry, yes, you have a valid point.  As a person that's had 3 major 
surgeries, and now have a spine full of titanium rods and screws, I must try 
to do anything at all to relieve the discomfort, other than the pain pump 
the team implanted in my abdomen.
