A mist and fume respirator (replaceable cartridge type unit) will but  
a N95 dust mask may not (grinding yes, welding fumes, questionable).  
There are some disposable 3M respirators that will work as well that  
are made for welding. They are  pricey but cheaper than doctors and  
hospitals etc.
