Right in the comfort of your own home, you can watch a great vid of  
the Bulldog Shovels being made in England- Oil forges, big hammers  
and presses, making the best shovels around- Ames/ Tru Temper has  
drastically cut back on forged shovels, shutting down their  
Parkersburg W. VA. factory over wage issues, and now using 4 joint  
venture factories in China- so Bulldog is pretty much the last real  
shovel company.

Frosty, if you ever get back east stop in at the penn.railroad museum  
in Altoona pa. they have a vid presentation of there forging shop.  
They used oil burners and then there are the clips of the #6000 and  
#12000 steam hammers in action. A worth while stop.
