This copper theft in the good ole US of A is very strange to me.

I will never forget the image of an Okinawan hanging over and frying and 
smoking on an electrical line as we drove by moving a big crane from Camp 
Kinser to Camp Hansen.  I thought...damn these folks are really hard-up for 
some cash...
and
"Right here in River City" 40+ years later. Who would have thunk it?
