[TheForge] Hammer heat treating/stainless coloration

I have used hydrochloric acid and a battery charger. Connect the positive 
lead to the work and the negative lead to an electrode made of the same type 
of metal that the work is. Wrap the electrode with fiberglass mesh (used 
with fiberglass resin to patch cracks) dip in the acid and wipe the surface 
to remove the discoloration. Works very well. Also works on copper. I am sur 
phosporic or muratic acid will work also. Vinegar might too but never tried.
