[TheForge] Hammer heat treating/stainless coloration

Regarding the stainless coloration. There are a few methods out there, of which is Reis is probably the master. Acid passivation can reduce discoloration, there are current based devices, which I have not tried, and as you have mentioned good old fashioned elbow grease. I often use a stainless powered wire brush then Scotch Brite discs or wheels on side grinders. They work pretty good for me.
