Well, these guys call(ed) their product "400 mph tape" to suggest it
was way better than that mil-spec stuff then called "100 mph tape". I
used one roll and it was, in fact, astonishingly sticky and durable.
Since I posted, I've found evidence that "400 mph tape" may be a local
product and I'm trying to run down the people involved in the
business. Looks like they may have folded or taken a powder.
Ho hum. Details to follow if I ever get any and they're interesting
enough to risk another OT post. :-)
