We usually cut the trees off about 4 foot high if we are gonna roll the stump
out gives lots of leverage.
Dig out the dirt from around the stump, usually start about a foot or so from
the base and work my way out around down and under the stump using shovel, and
a garden trowel. Cut free the roots with an old axe. Roll stump out with farm
jack, chains, and long wrecking bars. replace soil, fill to suit.
