Rev. Frosty;
Virtually knowing you ( see, we have virtue, sorta) I'd offer a
caution stemming from the aftermath of a disagreement with a
treadle hammer, fingers and my own foot.
The cast was only on one hand and i had orders to fill. So by the
time i came in to have the cast cut off...it was so battered that
i'd had to forge a fairly elaborate steel clip brace to hold it
together. The nurse looked at me in a very odd way..and then so
did the doctor. He inhaled deeply and shook his head.
I had to remove the steel clip for them. The white cast had
turned shop brown...the nurse winced as she cut it off.
I've now a finger with a slightly displaced knuckle and a doctor
reluctant to see me again. The doctor part matters, probably.
So do behave...read all the SF you'd missed while
working..pleasant knitting...Pete f
