The robot that processes all of the mail that is sent to TheForge
will not accept attachments. You sent a sound file of some type.
It is a pretty dull robot. It doesn't like pictures or music or almost
any fun anything.
It doesn't know how to read anything but "Plain Text" either. Don't post in
"Rich Text" or html or anything other than "Plain Text". The other
thing that this robot doesn't like is multiple addresses. Don't
address an e-mail to TheForge and several of your buds at the same
time. It just confuses the robot and nobody wants to see robots run
amok. You can, however, post a link to the sound file if you like.
Then folks can choose to go and listen to it or not. Plenty of
subscribers still have slow dial-up connections and shouldn't be
burdened by having to download big files that they didn't ask for in
the first place.
