[TheForge] Any recommendations on cutoff saws? Brands, etc?

The Jet catalog at :
<http://www.jettools.com/catalog/catalog.htm>
lists rpm for the high speed cold saws as 1750 and 3500 with a blade
size of 350mm or about 13" diameter. The low speed saws are listed as
44 and 98 rpm with the same blade diameter. There is a smaller unit
with a 250mm (10inch) blade at 98 rpm.
