I ran across one website that said he prefers murriatic acid over ferric 
chloride because it pits less.  Has any of you noticed a problem with f.c. 
pitting?

I've heard of: Lemon juice, lime juice, white vinegar
and mustard being used as echants.

Naval Jelly, Ospho, etc. are phosphoric acid and I
don't know how they'd work.
