You have had better luck than I. Maybe we need a list of what works and what
to avoid. I tossed the 12v cordless drill and a wood cutting band saw. Nwatd
from day one.
The el-cheapo metal cutting band saw is a good buy @ abt $150 on sale. They
need some tuning and it helps to brace the flimsy stand, but they are a
serviceable tool. I replaced the motor on Ray's after abt 10 years- bolted a
motor on a piece of plywood and adapted to fit 5 years ago.

A little while ago, I got my morning UPS delivery and
a part that we need for our new trailer showed up.
Free of charge, the part was rail for the trailer we
just got, we had two right sides and no left sides.
Now we have the right part to complete the trailer and
I have a piece of spare piece of channel iron to use
around the shop.
HF may take some real hits concerning their products,
they have always done well for me.
