I grew up along the Mexican border in south Texas.
We're making tamales for Turkey Day. Don't know if any
of them will have turkey though. We're all getting
together at my sister's house in Missouri (coming from
Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, Arkansas, and Louisiana).
We'll set up the assembly line sometime after
breakfast, and by mid afternoon we'll have enough
tamales made for a big dinner and for each of us to
take home several dozen.

Yum!

Aubrey

That sure sounds good to me Aubrey.

Last week I made quesadillas with left over turkey.
Kept it simple, chilli powder, cumin, cilantro, onion
and extra sharp chedar. A little sour cream and fresh
salsa. Yum-O! (to quote my favorite daytime TV
hostess.)
