[TheForge] I know what _I_ want for Christmas, guys ;-)

I built one out of popsicle sticks. It works but not with anything heavy at
all. A pop bottle cap would probably be a good thing to throw with it, but
anything heavier is out of the question. I used about 50 jumbo sized paper
clips for weight in the box. It threw a rubber finger page turner thingy
across the room alright, though. (I know those should have been discarded
about 40 years ago, but it was still in the desk.)

Good recuperation / learning project, Frosty !

I thought one built with 2x4's would be a cool thing to have for throwing
water balloons at the beach. By the dozen. But then, I don't go to any
beach, living here in the middle of northern Illinois. I was born in Kansas
and haven't recovered from the move to this cold climate yet. My folks
moved here when I was about 3. I just turned 54.
