My general experience with HF is that on the average i've paid 
about as much as i would have for a decent quality tool, in the 
long run. Some of them are OK ( i've done well with their cheapie 
air hammers for example). Many other HF tools didn't last through 
a single job. There's a pile of dead ones in the corner shelf.
The loss is in your time coping with the failures. It's a gamble, 
and i suspect the house always wins, like usual.
I'd much rather buy quality old overweight tools, once.
When they fail they are often fixable and still worth fixing.
What's the value of frustration?....pete f
