What? Not even *once*?  :-) Well, I went in once, right after they
opened here.  I felt like I had wandered onto the Bladerunner set and
was trapped there.

More than junk, I hate shopping in an atmosphere where the the default
assumption is that you're a moron and a sucker who will never, ever know
that their Fine Products are junk.

We don't have HF but we have Princess Auto.  They don't claim that
their products are great quality (some are and some aren't) but they
guarantee everything.  I've bought three items from the over $200.
All three had problems.  Two were promptly replaced with more
expensive models. In the other case, (shipping dings and dents in a
roller cabinet) no replacement without defects could be found on site
so they offered me a 30% rebate as an alternative to a long wait while
one was shipped from Saskatchewan.

My Taiwanese drill press and 4" bandsaw have been chugging along for
25 years with only one (fixable) breakdown in the drill press.
Otherwise, a couple of cheapo air tools are my only Chinese imports.
