Charles posted links to three websites giving miter angle formulas. These I can
more-or-less get a grip on. Mike Spencer posted another formula that's easier to
understand. My question now is, do all these formulas give the same result? They
look quite different.

Chris is right in saying that as blacksmiths we shouldn't need to calculate
everything to get it to fit. But I'm curious anyway, and I can imagine a
situation someday where a formula really is necessary.
