Hi Tim,
he could join FABA......the Fl affiliate chapter of ABANA. There is a  
group that meets in his area once a month. Here's their site...with

AND FWIW.... if he's interested in blacksmithing courses, to speed up  
the learning curve :).......I'm only a few hours north of him.
