Dan, you have me confused with someone else.  I'm the one who was asking about re-forging the tip of the horn on my Mouse Hole.  I specifically said I have no intention of welding on my anvil.  I know this thread has gotten rather confusing because it has taken several different directions with no change in Subject line.  I'll accept responsibility for not changing the Subject line when I jumped in.  I am a fan of J-B Weld, just not on anvils.
