There was actually serious talk about constructing a battery powered tank.
Stupid.  In war, it is necessary to be able to get out of Dodge, fast.
Anything else will cost lives.  With all the stuff that they cram into the
F-16, I'm not surprised that it gets that kind of mileage<G>.
