Rob,
If it's cast iron (I'm guessing, since it broke off) you're going to have to
air arc it...unless you've got a really big bandsaw...

I have another question regarding fixer upper tools.  I may have a
chance to get a platen table with roughly a third of it broken off, for
free.  Should I use Oxy/Acet to cut the jagged part off or an air arc
set up?  I've never used an air arc. When I do get it to a useable
state should the stand bring the table to anvil height?
