Yes.

Clamp one end of one of those strips in the vise.  Bend the other end
over nearly 180 deg. Let go (being SURE to keep your face out of the
way) and it will go WHOP-whop-whup and just whip back and forth, Heat
it to orange, cool it in air, clamp it in the vise and pOINK! you can
snap it off with one hand.

Sounds like it would be good for a laminated knife.  I once made a
pattern welded (finger) ring using this stuff and m/s.  Couldn't file
it after welding up the ring. Left it in the coals of the wood stove
over night.  Taken out of the cold ashes in the morning, it could be
filed.
