Lived in Phoenix area for 25 years and never seen anyone make maple syrup  
from the maple trees there. Usually have to do it to them around February.  
Blacksmiths that are in Arizona, Do you  belong to Arizona Artist  Blacksmith 
Group? 
Was a member there until I  left in 2003.  Bunch of good guys.  Anyone 
running a coal  forge. I  left some large chunks of coal there  and if interested 
you can have it. Email me and I will let my wife know. I think  there is about a 
half of a 55 gallon barrel of it.
