For those in the upper Midwest interested in a Tom Latane' workshop I
have listed the info below

Master Smith Tom Latane' will teach another 3-day workshop at Tunnel
Mill.
 Racine, Minnesota
(20 miles south of Rochester, Minnesota)

The class-The Next Step-embellishment of rough forgings.
 April 20, 21, and 22, 2006
Students will forge one or more simple kitchen utensils (or another
simple article of
students choice) on which to practice filing round and flat surfaces and
bevels as
well as chasing flat surfaces.  Participants will also forge an open
face die to be used 
in the hot shaping process, and several chasing tools.

We are very fortunate to have Tom offer this workshop at the mill, join
us and learn some of Tom's finishing touches.

Some accommodations are available at the mill, close by motels and a
meal plan.
Call for cost and more information.  Class is limited to 8.
