Walt I have forced air unit heaters that cost a fortune to run, I have been  
considering radiant floor because I thought it would be the lowest cost to run 
 and that I could have a divided system and fire partly with wood..  The  
only other option I see would be radiant tube heaters which I know little  about. 
  The building is brick and due to exterior loading docks  impossible on one 
side to insulate.  I question about insulating under the  slab because I have 
so much thermal mass.
