Always put gravel and a vapor barrier underneath concrete. Don't know if
this is what you are referring to. My mother's house had a carport,
concrete. It didn't have gravel and a vapor barrier. So, in winter it
sweated. Got real slick, real quick. Now that it is built into a garage,
the problem still exists, though to a smaller extent.
