Jerry,
Well after sending dozens of photographs to Jack for the back cover of Gas
Burners, with the final result that he advised me "not to try for
Hollywood," you probably got that right :-)

You're wrong about the polycarbonate lenses though. Prescription
polycarbonate lenses are usually chemically surface hardened, a process
borrowed from the glass makers. They are very scratch resistant.

I know I'm not Mikey (and not bummed about it<grin>) and don't really have 
anything to add to his reply. However, polycarbonate lenses can be had to 
fit any frame/style/etc. They scratch worse than glass but are pretty 
unbreakable.

You can get the side shields as clip ons so you don't look like a wanker. (I

believe that's English for dork) Assuming of course you don't already look 
like one or the other. <grin>
