Jeff,
I think that all you woud need to do would be to formalize a design and pay
UL to test it. Once you have the UL approval I'm sure the insurance co and
fire marshals would get on board. UL testing is not cheep.

It seems funny that any one would freak out over using gasoline -- we
use it in cars all the time. It just doesn't seem like it would be
inherently more dangerous than propane or natural gas, or O/A tanks.
But then again, I really have no idea what I'm talking about. Maybe
gasoline produces a nasty byproducts if it's burnt too cool, or without
enough oxygen, or not under pressure or something. Anyone know?
