[TheForge] Spare tire hammer workshop

My understanding is that the school itself is a not-for-profit educational
entity. I am betting that they will probably be buying new materials for
the hammers, and not scrounging. But because of the welding school and the
association with (I think it is) Maine Oxy (a welding supply company) I bet
they get a really good price for the steel compared to if you or I went to
buy it.

In case you have not yet taken a class there. NESM is a large modern
facility. Half the building is a blacksmith school and the other half of
the building is a welding school. i.e. all the latest welding equipment.

I can't think of a better facility to hold a power or treadle hammer
building workshop: space, power, equipment. And because its a welding
school, multiples of most of the welders, etc

regards,
